Firstly, I need to say sorry for your loss, Jack - It is so upsetting when someone close to us passes away. Heaven has gained an Angel, my friend. She's your Angel now. This is a bitter sweet write, short but has so many emotions.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Jack. :( Losing a friend is like losing a part of your soul. What's worse, even if we know how fleeting life is, even if we think that we are prepared for someone dear to us to pass away, when it actually happens... No one is really ready for it. After everything, you can only find yourself thinking of how it all happened so fast and how short our time with that person really was.

This is a really touching and endearing poem you have written for your friend. I am certain that she would have loved it.

Oh wow! What a sweet memorial to her and the love you felt for each other. I believe even though the ones we love may have passed along, as long as their memory stays in our hearts a piece of them remains. I lost my sister a few years ago to breast cancer and I find myself thinking of times gone by from time to time. She is still in my heart and will remain till the end of my time here on this earth.
