Clouds formed of patchwork

Clouds Formed of Patchwork

Clouds formed of patchwork appear on this night

Slowly a’ float of a mist of light gray

Pacing the moon glow, in its ever drawn light

Silently sailing along on their way

Playfully teasing the cause of their plan

Stating the measures of empty desire

Tempting our eyes with their magic delight

Clouds formed of patchwork appear on this night

So many stars are a’ shine in the sky

Twinkling brightly upon the dark drape

Counting their numbers as time passes by

Waiting for sunrise to plan their escape

Diamonds reflecting the joys of our heart

Finding the patterns our souls pacify

Calling our eyes as the nighttime does start

So many stars are a ‘shine in the sky

Cool winds of autumn now knock on our door

Brushing the leaves of the slow changing trees

Silently sweeping the land ever pure

Simple our visions now caught in the breeze

Wonderful feelings invoke on our skin

Lasting the moments our love does endure

Long are the days now about to begin

Cool winds of autumn now knock on our door

All are the feelings of our love so true

Sent from the heavens so that we may see

Star light and clouds move on breezes anew

Here in this place that is now you and me

Take now my hand as we walk on our way

Oh but to share every season with you

Harmony takes hold of us every day

All are the feelings of our love so true

Great and beautifully expressed my friend. I like the descriptions of how we view the stars, and the sharing of the seasons.

You inspired me to write my own Jack....I should thank you. Always, dear friend.
You bring love to life if it is dead , the seasons to maturity if they are nigh , the words to meaning if they are scattered. Awesome...:)
