Double You See Slo-Mo

 

 

I posted this poem

And then had to wait

Minutes then hours

It was getting late

 

The captcha was right

All the boxes filled in

Still that little symbol

Continued to spin

 

I sat and I watched

Soon realizing

The motion so steady

It was hypnotizing

 

I started to dream

Of a wonderful site

Where minutes weren’t hours

And days were not night

 

I could leave a review

Answer some mail

Like a jack rabbit

Not like a snail

 

Frieda was happy

Pryde was around

Rita and Angi

And Emma were found

 

Roses were writing

Keith passing through

Sami, Doc Brown

Girl Friday there too

 

Icelandicblue

and Lydi online

I forgot that we lost

that screen for a time

 

Cassie and Angel

Tammy and Traci

Reds there and Robbie

with poetry racy

 

Anto complaining

He paid his bills

Why if it's summer

Does he have the chills 

 

Rapidly moving

From here and to there

Never a worry

Hardly a care

 

Yawn, I just woke up

From a wonderful dream

Four hours later

Still the same screen

 

If I had a wish

What I’d wish the most

Sometime this year

My poem would post

Very witty write there, my friend. Love when your sense of humor shines, even through frustrations, jack rabbit, "just Jack". I think we can all relate to these issues. I just have remind myself to pick and choose what I should get angry over, and there are much more important problems in my life than WC not loading.
