Beautiful Sunsets

Beautiful Sunsets

A Poem by Jack...
"

What better way to send my love

"

Beautiful Sunsets

The end of the day brings such wonders to see

Drenched in the colors of love’s tapestry

Found on this shoreline encased in a bonnet of fire

Ribbons now cast on horizons define

Curvature banners upon a straight line

Blushing in images lost in your deepest desires

Whispering winds flow from far reaching seas

Sweet is their fragrance of ocean born breeze

Calming this message, caressing your skin comes to share

Delicate flowers abloom on the sky

Painting the clouds as they wander on by

Nature’s magnificent pastels in soft solitaire

Apricot wishes a part of the scene

Captured decisions at rest in your dreams

Bountiful visions now call you to visit their view

Only a day with such beauty is told

Sent down from heaven, your eyes to behold

Beautiful sunsets arrive just to say I love you

The day kisses us good bye with a beautiful sunset and you have described it so well in your creative lines. Apricot wishes makes me think of the colour of the sky as it changes through subtle shades of orange, gold and red, with on last use of the available light.

You paint beautiful images with your words:

Delicate flowers abloom on the sky
Painting the clouds as they wander on by
Nature’s magnificent pastels in soft solitaire

Apricot wishes is a stunning idea. Thanks for the sunshine jack.

Thank so very much Keith...
Nice, very nice.

Your words are always extremely well chosen Jack. Its true craftsmanship.
I like the elements of this that convey the fact that world on which we live plays host to such true and bountiful natural beauty. The beauty of live and the world and nature. So unobserved by many and that's tragic. We should bask in its splendour while we can. And allow its illuminating glow to permeate into our lived, making their simple beauty yet more beautiful.

Well done Jack, it was another skillful gem.

Brett, your kind words thrill me to know end. Thank you.
I hear your music my friend, for it's a good blues this time... such a way and ray of light. Sunsets are magical for I can sit there just on a beach chair, whole night, with my bought BBQ in Spain... you brought me back the romantic yearning/feeling of a night to be cherished, your words always swing my friend.

I did, it's sublime, how you write... each and every time :)
I like the rhyme scheme here Jack, different. I don't think I've attempted that one. Some of your imagery is very beautiful along with you're ever present ability to imbue light upon the page and have it reflect the humble adoration of your muse.

You're welcome.
Beautiful sunsets do feel like that don't they? Like they were born just for you. I adore this poem. It's description and flow are wonderful. I'm really missing home today, perhaps since I'm about to head home for a funeral...hopefully the beautiful sunsets will help heal.

Exquisite poem.
