NEWS FLASH…We interrupt this poem for a breaking news
story… There is too much, “Woe is me” on the WC...Conspiracy theorists are
having a field day with the rampant expressions of… “everyone is out to get me”
or “they are all ganging up on me, nobody loves me” and the bleeding hearts are
feeding on … “I didn’t do anything wrong” or “It was all someone else’s fault, I’m
the innocent one here”…
We will keep you
updated on any new developments…wait…yes…this just in, a happy poet is writing
now, it seems the “woe is me” theme is being pushed to the side and happiness
is shining through. Stay tuned right here for more on this exciting story.
Creative indeed, Jack. You always manage to shine a light on things with microscopic distinction.
You know, I've never been one to feel sorry for myself...probably the "only child" syndrome. I learned to entertain myself, play alone, etc. It takes more effort to be sad or upset than it does to just smile and slosh through the mire. That is not to say I don't have bad days, but when the bad days come around, I either write them or I just step out of myself for a bit and look at things from a different perspective. This is a different perspective.

However, I am just trying some different styles of writing, thinking outside of the margins, as it were. I have learned from you and others that the door is wide open and it is time to explore. Thank you my friend.

I like your out of the box thinking...it works well!
Very funny and satirical Jack. I like the interruption to offset the change in mood.

Thanks, the problem is it didn't change my mood. I still find I am writing some dark pieces.

Hahahaha, very funny Jack. :D You're right, there are too much writers here whining about their own destiny, most of them complaining on rather ridiculous matters. I do realize I can be sometimes one of them, but at least I can admit to being pathetic from time to time. We really should try to focus on the better things in our lives, things that make us happy, that make us actually get up in the morning; instead of just complaining about the problems. Everyone has problems. Everyone feels alone at some point. But we shouldn't let that lead our lives. Excellent work, Jack :)

There is so much to be happy for, at least the way I look at it, bt that doesn't mean the sad side won't show through every once in a while. You, Pathetic???I think not.
Not much to tell about me, I am just Jack, I am a poet, a writer, a musician, a painter, a builder and a dreamer. I live in south Texas but am originally from New Jersey and miss it more and more all .. more..
