To tell you I love you

To tell you I love you

A Poem by Jack...
"

Because I do

"

To tell you I love you

To touch you is to know you

To hear you is to sing

To kiss you is my heaven

To know the joy you bring

To dream you is my reason

To find your scent so sweet

To walk with you forever

To feel your burning heat

To call out in the darkness

To watch the sun now rise

To know that you’re my only

To see it in your eyes

To listen so intently

To offer only cheer

To dance about the city streets

To find you standing near

To glance in your direction

To taste your fruited wine

To share with you eternal

To know that you are mine

To hold you every morning

To whisper oh so true

To say what I am feeling

To tell you I love you

Thank you so much my friend.
Readers are gonna swoon, Jack. What every lady wants to hear... The ever elusive, "I love you" from the man...
Wonderful poem, of course! :)

Thank you so much Sera
In my head I am hearing "To Make You Feel My Love", an oft-covered Bob Dylan song. This is a sweet litany of love!

Funny, when I wrote it I heard "I want you (so bad)" in my head. Thanks so much Rita
