Find their hand

Find their hand

A Poem by Jack...
"

Devoted friendship...always there Written for someone in pain...hoping she hears

"

Find their hand

Alabaster dreams converge,

neither here nor there,

calling out to one,

finding they respond with a kind hand…happily

Eclipsing hate’s nightmare…patiently

Beyond the window waits hope,

blemished of a drawn curtain

and tempest fears,

which it cries for you…in tears of future joy

Sorrow fuels this hope…relinquishing pain

Reach, for inside a light does flicker,

a soft glow,

calming and peaceful,

beckoning the truth and offering a moment’s peace…quiet solitude

Holding you closely…feel its warmth

For within you lies a heart,

love filled and crafted,

leaping at the word go,

challenging thoughts that bare down…heavily

A friend’s hand helps with the heavy lifting…eternally

Find their hand, it longs your touch,

your smile, your happiness…you

Friends are special but in times when we especially need a hug or helping hand, they're invaluable, very nicely written. Felt the emotion in this one.

Thank you so much my friend.
This really touched my heart Jack, yes friends are sometimes our saving grace. An outstretched hand in kindness makes all the difference in the world. I don't have to tell you that I love the pic too. Beautiful sentiments you've pen'd here my dear friend.

It is true that in times of sorrow and dispair it is hard to find that hand of solace and friendship...but once you feel the touch it is heart warming. Beautiful work.

Thank you so very much Carol.
Beyond the window waits hope,
blemished of a drawn curtain
and tempest fears -- love these lines, such a stark image that I can completely relate to.

Aside from the above, the last two lines are fantastic. This is ladden with metaphorical significance for me. I completely love the idea of this one, delicate, longing, somber, and bright all wrapped into one beautifully penned piece. Well done, my friend.

And you wrote it well, my friend :)
Finding hands of those who would comfort us...
Someone who's in pain really needs those hands. It offers hope...to be not left alone in the dark.

Good job. :)

There is nothing like love and its touching warm hands around our hearts where it flows in friendship veins to touch their pain and sorrow. You have that big heart Jack and the caring hands for her...A great write...:)

Thank you so much my sweet friend.
Though sorrow is on the edge of this poem, it is bursting with so much hope and love. This is why we do not exist alone; our sorrows and joys must be shared. Love this piece, Jack.
