A little fun on a WhyNot Wednesday

 

 

 

 

Desperate,

for but a touch,

a smile found within a glance

 

Drunk along

this tavern’d dream,

self assured in barstool stance

 

Whispering,

the empty shaker,

echoing this questioned chance

 

Salted bliss,

of heaven’s calling,

as my mind lives in a trance

 

Slice the lime,

dust the hardwood,

care to join me for a dance

 

Come to me,

my Margarita,

the neon shines of true romance
