While standing in the sunA Poem by Jack...Summer is almost hereWhile standing in the sun by jack
I take the sun in summer skies in waves of warmth so free Beginning with the morning rise until the end I see
For I shall bask in lonely dreams so bright that they have come To find the reason that it means to stand out in the sun
For of theses day my skin does turn a glowing color red If wind breaks soft, yet I shall learn these thoughts inside my head
To catch a glimpse of golden shine I call for what is new As moments fight with borrowed time then cast these feelings true
For I shall wait alone this day within the grasses tall Along a breeze, they tend to sway in spite of what is all
And count the season's tender beams each hour one by one And lose myself within my dreams while standing in the sun
