Things seem so much clearer now.

 

Perfect Bird’s Eye View

The pathway long and winding

Of obstacles I’m finding

So easily I seem to overcome

 

Steep and never ending

The height I am ascending

It seems that I can almost touch the sun

 

Still I keep on going

Beneath a sky that’s glowing

Till everything beneath me I can see

 

A few more steps I travel

Soon the sights unravel

When I am at the place I long to be

 

As to the edge I’m nearing

And down below I’m peering

I find that all my dreams have now come true

 

For as I stand here gazing

The world it is amazing

Offered by this perfect bird’s eye view

Beautifully done. This reminds me a little of the Icarus myth...flying on borrowed wings, enjoying the sights and feeling so much that you must be careful not to fly too close to the sun. I love the imagery in this one.
