Time to flush away

Time to flush away

A Poem by Jack...
"

To you and you know who you are (and so do we)

"

Time to flush away

by jack

Are you who you say you are?

What should we believe?

Picking up these café crumbs

Trying to deceive

Changing names like underwear

Faces forged for free

Taking poets renderings

Nothing but a thief

Preying on the honest

Stalking of the young

Drooling like the troll you are

Speak with forked tongue

Jagged little fingers

Still you can not write

Staging every victim

Filling them with fright

Carving your existence

On another’s verse

Satan as a poet

Could not be much worse

We should slap your parents

For giving you a name

That you are afraid to use

Because you are ashamed

Nothing but a termite

Chewing up the wood

I hope your mouth has splinters

No, that would be too good

Why not pack a suitcase

Everything you own

Travel very far from here

Just leave us alone

Are you who you say you are

If so that is ok

If not, you’re just a piece of crap

Time to flush away

I believe hard not to repeat some words. I have study poetry in college and read all the master of poetry that I could. I tell the young people. Read the old timers like William Cowper, Richard Crashaw , Alexander Pope and John Milton. There are many other. They were the first word-men who used words and thoughts to open doors to thoughts and wonder. I don't get too excited when someone borrow a line or two from me. We learn from each other. To steal a complete poem is very wrong. I believe a writer's goal is to motivate another to think and write. A excellent poem. Few people have style that are hard to copy. I would love to be able to write like Dante and describe like George martin. Thank you.

Aspects of institutions

Although individual, formal organizations, commonly identified as "institutions," may be deliberately and intentionally created by people, the development and functioning of institutions in society in general may be regarded as an instance of emergence; that is, institutions arise, develop and function in a pattern of social self-organization, which goes beyond the conscious intentions of the individual humans involved.
As mechanisms of social interaction, institutions are manifest in both formal organizations, such as the U.S. Congress, or the Roman Catholic Church, and, also, in informal social order and organization, reflecting human psychology, culture, habits and customs, and encompassing subjective experience of meaningful enactments. Most important institutions, considered abstractly, have both objective and subjective aspects: examples include money and marriage. The institution of money encompasses many formal organizations, including banks and government treasury departments and stock exchanges, which may be termed, "institutions," as well as subjective experiences, which guide people in their pursuit of personal well-being. Powerful institutions are able to imbue a paper currency with certain value, and to induce millions into cooperative production and trade in pursuit of economic ends abstractly denominated in that currency's units.[citation needed] The subjective experience of money is so pervasive and persuasive that economists talk of the "money illusion" and try to disabuse their students of it, in preparation for learning economic analysis.[citation needed]

OMG.... I love this Jack, this is so true... I run a group on another site and almost no-one uses their real photo.. that is bad enough but in my first first few weeks as moderator I caught a women on there with two different profiles, plagiarized poems on both of them... grrrrr.... I threatened to write the original artists and she flushed herself right out of the group.. lol I dont see the point of trying to take credit for something not your own...xo silhouette

I am glad this was sent to me via read request.
I try desperately hard to ensure that what I write is my own but I know that there are times that I will mimic others as I have read so much in my life time. On that note, your point is well taken as I have had things swiped from myself a time or two.

Tate sent me this read request and I was most honored to read your poem. You compose such truths, realities and awareness. The title so fitting and the picture as well. Sad that there exists those who steal like a thief in the night of others creativity. A remarkable write.
