Sadness to me is more blue, but this is so imaginative! This is my favorite of your works! Going to my library :) Comparing sadness to art is a really great idea. Combining two things I love. Makes it all the more enjoyable!

Thank you so very much. I am happy you liked it and thrilled you are going to keep it close.
I complain sometimes about not having the ability to paint, or draw, but after reading this, I think I'm almost better off, because, just as there are certain pieces of poetry I find difficult to re-read, pieces I may have written in times of sorrow or regret or loss, I am positive there would be works of painted art I just would not have the emotional fortitude to look at had they been created out of loneliness or pain. This is a remarkable piece, Jack...simply remarkable.

Thank you so much Kimmer, I appreciate you stopping by.
This is so lovely...! The haunting, saddening feel of this paints a muted but beautiful color to this piece. I especially love the alliterations... again, this is beautiful!
So sad, I feel the weight of the paint upon the pallet. Yet, written with such a soft style and easy reading, the heaviness of the topic feels lifted, burden shared.
Very, very well written, Jack.
