Forever mine

Forever mine

A Poem by Jack...
"

Eternally, I will love thee

"

Forever Mine

By jack

Innocence, O’ heart of mine

I send to thee a tender kiss

Found within these words a’ rhyme

Flowing from my fingertips

Written soft, affection’s flare

O’ to touch your precious heart

O’er these words of love I share

Prayers that we shall never part

Bring thy smile to my gaze

Fill my life with joy divine

Within these words of love I pray

Your love shall be forever mine

Break out the wine, we're celebrating! One of these days you need to put all these glorious writings together in a collection and dedicate them to your muse. I know there's one that is at the heart of all these fabulous writings. Excellent!

My pleasure...:)
Nice work. It conjures images of a gentleman, a lady with a parasol on his arm, strolling a garden as he professes his feelings. The last line didn't quite fit the meter though, I wonder if you would consider 'Your love will be forever mine' ?

'Joy divine', what a luverly thought, the picture is amazing, as is your romantic poem, always a sigh in your poetry Jack, not sure how you do it, this one lights the page in incandescent candlelight.

Always I appreciate your kind words my friend.
Shakespearean in tone, but much easier to understand! You write of love so eloquently, Jack!
