All'ombra dell'albero più grande quercia

O' magnificent flower of my garden

By jack

O' magnificent flower of my garden

Sweet petal a' flow in my eyes

A breeze softly fragrant of love everlasting

Bright as the blue springtime skies

Love me as never shall come our tomorrows

Live for today within my soft embrace

Heart of my heart may you never feel sorrow

Sadness a feeling I long to erase

Dreams ever flowing of love in the springtime

Under the shade of the grandest oak tree

Lazy the field which we lay of its comfort

Wondrous the day that your love comes to me

Melodies ring in the quietest moments

Sweet harmony comes the sound of our love

Sing to me softly the voice of an angel

Sent down to love me from heaven above

There is something about the french language--it even looks aesthetically more pleasing on the page than English, at least to me. Did you actually write it in French? Or did you use a translator after writing it in English?

I have to admit I used a translator, but once translated to both French and Italian, I printed out t.. read more
Firstly, this is a beautiful poem, as always, your description is vivid and your literary style is amazing. Secondly, I am amazed by the fact that you could write the same poem in three different languages, I tried reading the first one with my broken French, and though I didn't succeed in reading it all due to my understanding falling apart, the French language does give it a certain flare, especially reading out loud to myself in as much of a French accent as I could manage. I'm guessing the second one is Spanish, I've never studied Spanish so it is just a bunch of semi-understandable words to me. The French version seems to have some English in it, am not sure if you did it on purpose, but I thought I should point it out just in case.
On the whole, beautiful (both for the content and for the creativity of having it in other languages)
