Kimmer needs a poem

Nothing too sweet

Maybe I’ll write one

About smelly feet

She doesn’t want sugar

And no stupid spice

No lovey dovey

Nothing real nice

How ‘bout some grease

Picture some dirt

A big ketchup stain

On your new white skirt

Smog in the air

Sludge in the street

A loud crying baby

The noisiest seat

During a movie

Your favorite scene

“SHUT UP YOUR KID”!

You are heard to scream

Would that be better

Sort of O.K.?

Anything else

You want me to say

No romantic music

No harp or no flute

How about a story

This one’s kind of cute

Two little termites

Eating some wood

One bug was bad

The other one good

Chewing and chewing

All night and day

Two little termites

Eat your house away

How about that one

It’s not too bad

It might make you smile

But won’t make you sad

No mention of kissing

Or eternal love

No angels from heaven

Sent down from above

Blonde hair a’ flowing

Or verses like that

More like the buzzing

The sound of a gnat

So small and so tiny

Constant in your face

When you are sweating

It’s all in your space

Buzzing and buzzing

Just like they do

Swat if you want

And then there’ll be two

Just don’t send a sunset

A pure orange glow

Shimmering oceans

Or glistening snow

Forget the blue birds

And sparrows are dumb

How about a hammer

On somebody’s thumb

That’s sure to hurt

Turn nice and red

The pounding intense

It’s all in your head

Don’t make it feel better

With a little kiss

No darlings or honeys

Nothing like this

She wants only funny

Poems to read

Not love sick words

No missing you plead

Like rotten tomatoes

Beneath her chair

Or possibly bubble gum

Stuck in her hair

That wouldn’t be nice

That I can’t do

At least I can not

Write that for you

So Kimmer, don’t worry

Soon you will find

A long written poem

That is not the kind

That’s roses and daisies

Or autumn and spring

Or makes you so happy

Your heart wants to sing

Nothing so sugary

Nothing too sweet

Just this funny poem
