Twilight kissedA Poem by Jack...The end of the day
Twilight Kissed By jack O’ feelings of a twilight kissed My cheeks they flush O’ brim Peace doth calm my vision’d seek As evening’s light grows dim Pour of endless wonder seen As time doth take its rest Slowly tempered floating dream O’ tangerine thy crest Quick it doth dispense the day O’ daylight last was found Tempting every soul at place Upon this shadowed ground Abreast to stand a’ dreaming eye Of fortunes far off cast So long ago the morning lies Mere memories O’ past Thy scented air lies sweeter still Than any we hath known As but the final rays of light This twilight birth hath shown Sensual of highlight fare Of life now born desire To breathe thy ample perfumed air And watch the day retire © 2013 Jack...Author's Note
