Angel of love

Drowning in happiness

Swimming of life

Tasting the fruit of the sum

 

Tempting the visions

I look to the light

Seeking the hand of the one

 

Head above water

My strength all but spent

Searching for answers so true

 

Thoughts of the future

O’er tides they are sent

Here in this valley of blue

 

Dreams of the fever

As heat tends to rise

Lost on an eternal wave

 

Riding the reasons

Of yesterday’s skies

Once I was lost now I’m saved

 

Sand like a blanket

With warmth for to share

Thanking the heavens above

 

I open my eyes

And I find you are there

Oh my sweet angel of love

I've probably said it in past reviews but your words always have a lyrical sensitivity about them...it's a quality that must be reflective of a songwriter. You just seem to know when a poem requires a certain rhythm to get its sentiments across most effectively, and the sentiments you express are beautifully palpable.
