Eternal Fires

Eternal Fires

A Poem by Jack...
"

Love burns forever

"

Eternal Fires

By jack

Unfolded secrets,

caress my heart

in full view of the stars

Silent dreams and whispers

breathe…

in tapestries of hope

Ribbons cast along the shore

in effervescent hues,

dance as

contoured waves approach

adrift, trickling…

forever a’ glow of this view

Touch me deeper still,

my soul

it calls out loud your name

In trumpet’s blare of desperate tones

and wishes you will

hear

For in this heart does rage

a torrent, washing of your

love

climbing in a fevered pitch

Reaching for

endless journeys, as

eternal fires burn

your love

forever into my soul

Yes, one of my attempts at free verse. Thank you so much.
I could fall into the depths of these words, and wish to never find my way out again....you embellish your words with Images as plush as velvet and soft as cashmere...I have no words worthy to offer that could ever touch the beauty within this......

Just gorgeous, Jack! Love does burn forever, doesn't it? Deep and penetrating - it's going in the favorites! Loved it :)

Wow thank you so much for reading and placing it amongst your favorites.
Another stellar write Jack. I love romantic poetry that does not tip over and become syrupy. Depth of passion abounds, and so it burns!

Thank so much Lorena, you kind words thrill me.
To truly love someone is like, is a like a forest fire very unpredictable but it is needed for the resurgence of life.

Thank you sir.
This is a Valentine poem I adore, it's so full of affection and joy, no saccharin in this read.

Touch me deeper still,
my soul
it calls out loud your name

I can't begin to tell you how many places that touched me.
