Wishing on a star, however far away it might be

As far as the eye can see

Off in the distance tonight

A moon in the heavens does glow

I smile in happy delight

At beauty that I’ve come to know

 

Stars that do twinkle afar

Diamonds illumine the sky

Making a wish on that star

Glistening soft in my eye

 

Miles and miles uncharted

Shinning as bright as can be

Now my adventure has started

As far as the eye can see

I rather liked this little piece. There isn't a lot of depth and drama here, but overall I think you have managed to show us something that is both beautiful and enchanting--almost like a modern day lullaby. Well done.

There is a quote I have tattooed on the lining of my heart: "Every woman needs 50,000.00 and a room of he own. That is what I would wish for. Its selfish but I would love a year off to write and 50,000.00 and a room of my own would allow me to do that.
