You are a friend of mineA Poem by Jack...Freindship can mean a lot of things...and most of them good. You are a friend of mine By Jack Ivey Regardless of the situation, obstacles I face Walls of stone along the path, detours in its place Mountains I encounter as my steps are forced to climb Nothing it will stop me for you are a friend of mine Temperatures may rise and fall, the weather it may change Storms that wear a threatening frown as skies do rearrange Rivers overflowing till their banks fall by the side Never shall they hold me back, you are a friend of mine Burdens built of massive weight my shoulders they may bear Roadblocks of a structured state my eyes might come to stare Hurdles ever growing, hands behind my back they bind They will not deter me for you are a friend of mine Whenever you may need me, if for nothing much at all Just to hear a friendly voice, I am the one to call It matters not the hour any moment you may find For I am always there for you, you are a friend of mine © 2013 Jack...Author's Note
