A Chill is in the Air

So cool the morning breeze

A chill is in the air

As autumn lends a wondrous trace

Its majesty to share

 

Fall brings forth her colors

Of amber golden hue

In leaves of woven tapestry

An ever changing view

 

So vibrant the reflection

A' glisten on the lake

Horizons tinted saffron

Of beauty to partake

 

Behold the endless wonder

Of dreams it can compare

As autumn finds us once again

A chill is in the air

Oh Jack, I do love Autumn, the colours are just so amazing. I have always wanted to write a poem about it but couldn't seem to find the right words and it didn't sound good so I gave up, aha.

For some reason we all have a close affinity to fall season . I personally love fall season when leaves are showing their vibrant colors . I have always wanted to write a poem about it but couldn't put myself in a right mood let alone use the right word . Here Jack you penned it beautifully with such ease . I love the 2nd and 3rd paragraph.
