A Small Whisper

A Small Whisper

A Poem by Anita B Jacques
"

My very first poem.

"

A small whispe tells me

"Time"

It seems so far away to ease the pain.

I can see you at night.

Waiting.

You tell me

Not Yet!

When work is done

I can join you

In time

Dear Annie!
Time....four alphabet letters and yet it spans eternity! I have read your note that you heard this word whispered after your husband died. It is only time until we shall join our loved ones again! This is a most thought provoking write that instructs me to enjoy what I have before it is gone!
Thank you for making me stop to think!
Blessings!
Sheila

AMEN!!
an act of faith...a whisper of GOD and a whisper from the ALMIGHTY to nourish our battered tired soul from so many unnecessary clutters

Yes, we must finish our work before we can travel on. When loved ones pass we feel we should immediately follow. But it is not our time or place. You said this well.

Wow thanks for a wonderful poem. What impact this has emotionally and yet it is so short. 15 lines packed with power and a voice for us all. I enjoyed this. Standing "O".

Wow! I am very impressed! This piece is short but carries such an emotional impact! Time is the magic healer.. It may take a little or a lot but eventually everything will come to fruition with time.
This is such an eloquent piece Annie! :) Thank you for sharing it with me. :p

I like how you incorporate the concept of time as an emotional reflection, heartfully envisioned, Great Job.

We people always ask for the answers...Time will tell when and why... Your poem reminds me of people who dont understand why patience is a virtue...

When it is God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit that you are longing to join in "TIME" it seems we have to wait forever..but..we have a lot of seeds to sow so the Master can reap...nice write..God bless..Valentine
