Alone

Alone

A Poem by jaa713

Being alone

Is a sanctuary

A cathedral made of glass

Where some only peer in

And others live peacefully

It’s so quiet

It’s loud

Your thoughts form and grow

Opinions like

Blades of grass,

Sharp with the truth, yet soft under your toes

Butterflies of words

Flutter around and around

It’s you and your

Purest reflection

It’s you and the

Voices that whisper the meaning of life

Across your pillowcase

In the dead of night

Being alone

Is a temple

My chapel made of glass

Where I live and roam

Alone.
