Sweet Pain V by Jamil جميل

Sweet Pain V by Jamil جميل

A Poem by Jamil جميل

The meeting:-

I have observed you during the naive seasons,

And I have seen you amongst the shining stars,

O' beloved I swear by the disguise of your veil,

I have seen you amongst the queues of hearts,

A night of today will never repeat itself,

And nor will the unity of this sort ever again,

A cloud similar to today will always form itself,

But rain of this nature will never repeat again,

O' beloved through darkness of this night itself,

I feel moments as such will never recur again,

You have granted me one glimpse of yourself,

And so will I not be blessed with another again,

Sweet Pain thereafter:-

Now I hark back to the moon light itself,

And I also remember our first sight again,

Gripping glances of your beautiful face,

And I imagine the fascinating rain itself,

Your eyes struck and the love took it’s yearn,

Hearts were traded during moonlit night itself,

O' beloved your eyes unfolded the magic,

And my heart was yours by a first glance itself,

The charm of your exquisite appearance,

And my heart moved closer to you all by itself,

Before me was a wineglass full of ecstasy,

I was intoxicated without in taking a drop myself,

O' beloved I am under your deep spell,

And I have forgotten all my miseries,

I am lost in belief and in your glorious sight itself.
