No Longer There

No Longer There

A Poem by silver threaded queen

you think of her as empty
but she is no longer empty
she is gone
you think of her as dull
nor is she dull anymore
she is faded
she reminds you as a third class pair of jeans
brand new at first
the faded
then torn
soon you are just using her to patch up newer jeans
then you are using her as buttons
then she is gone
where she went
you still do not know
but if you sit
on a empty night
you will hear a faded voice
calling out your name

As being your friend, this is one of my favorite pieces. Yes, times have been tough and this is why we have friends. We've been through hell and back dealing with b*****s, s***s, and fakes. We have each other. Thanks for everything and I'm glad you've tried to help me but its not working thanks Jenny really.

Sorrowful and haunting. I wish you the best of luck and send my kindest regards in your troubled times.
Happy writing,
Savannah
