If I Were to Fall

If I Were to Fall

A Poem by silver threaded queen

if I were to fall

would you catch me

if I were to break

would you piece me back together

and if I was in need of help

would you help me

these thoughts

twist and take root in my mind

making me think

what would you do

at one time there would be no question

but now I think

so

if I were to fall

would you catch me

or sit back and let me fall

Sometimes we wish we knew who would hold us in the blackest hours of our lives, who would be there to carry us back after a terrible disaster, who would love us at our ugliest sin, who would still care about our feelings after we hurt them more deeply than any deepness we could ever and have ever imagined. So, would they carry you? would they catch you if you fell, or would they sit back and watch? OR, would they close their eyes?

There are many ways to fall, I think, this is poignant love, the emotions displayed and they have such raw power, to fall and wonder whether the person will allow it or to what degree is always in the back of the mind. Who knows? Excellent and thought provoking xx

it really depends on the person, and if they truely care. you really have to think if you can trust or not.

If there is any doubt perhaps you shouldn't trust that person fully. Its no fun to wonder if you can trust someone or not. Perhaps one needs to take the plunge and find out.
