awkward

awkward

A Poem by silver threaded queen

I never understood the cruelness of children
If one of them falls the rest just laugh
I never understood the hatred of teenagers
they hate me for what they don't understand
I never fit in my whole childhood
I grew up to be a awkward teen
I am this today
what am I going to grow to be?
I remember when I was younger
the teacher had asked us what we wanted to be
I heard spaceman, ballerina's, and firemen
I wanted to be a forensic scientist
in middle school they asked us again
rock-stars, models, and skateboarders
this is were I am now what about next year?
I still want to be a forensic scientist
but a small part of me...........
wants to be a writer
