the tree'sA Poem by silver threaded queennonethe tree's are above you
there branches welcoming
the are outlined by endless skys and blue waters
they have been here long before us
and will be here long after
they long for rest
beg for it
they are wise
they're voices careful
only the sharpest of ears may catch them
they wait
knowing you will die
waiting it out
they are endless
old souls
old ones
they lean back
and wait for you to come to them © 2010 silver threaded queenAuthor's Note
