Flowers

Flowers

A Poem by j-doe

I lay here in a casket
Slowly being buried deep,
My mind would be full of thoughts.
If i weren't more than asleep.
Flowers sadly lay
on my tomb stone once i'm gone,
and tear drops slowly fall
from dusk until dawn.
If i were an angel
My first act would be drying their tears
And then of course
I would wash away their fears.
If i could ask a question
I know just what I'd ask,
Why can you only bring me flowers
After i have passed?
Why  was i just some person
You only knew at school.
I thought we could be real friends
But i see i was the fool,
My life wasn't worth enough
For you to actually care.
So now that i'm gone don't bring flowers to my grave
DON'T YOU DARE!
Don't you see your flowers don't mean s**t,
I'd rather have one while i was there
Then a truck load now that i've passed

This is good. You can feel the anger and almost-regret at dying. Well Done =]

Wow, you're going to be quite the upcoming writer. This is definitely one of my favorites(no joke). I love how at first it was sad then as you progressed your anger built up at one specific person (of who will not dare be named). good job
