"Ivonne, baby..." I said, stroking her hair. "Where are your wings?"
"Wings?" Her eyes showed confusion.
"Yeah. You're my angel. You fell straight from heaven into my arms. Where are your wings?"
"Lareena... my little singing bird... I'm no angel. You, however... you're an angel from the highest level of heaven... Where are your wings?"
I kissed her nose. "Well, my kitten. They're hidden. If humans could see them, they'd be dazzled. It would kill them.
"I would love to die if I could have just one glance at them."
I kissed her forehead. "I couldn't do that to you... You're too important."
she nodded. "Tell me..."
"Anything."
"Did it hurt when you fell? You fell from so high..."
I kissed her lips this time. "No. You wanna know why?"
She nodded again.
"Because I landed in your arms. And you have yet to let me go. Not that I mind."
"Mmm... Lareena... are there people like us? As in love as we are? Who need each other like we do?"
"Impossible."
"Mmm.. I love you Lareena."
"And I love you Ivonne. I always will."

its short... but I had written it while I was talking to Lexy on the phone. We had been talking about angels... Angels are a running theme with us actually *smiles*
