All Liam

"Hmmm... Liam..." Isibell tossed restlessly in her sleep. "Liam, I need you... stay with me? Please, stay. I'm so alone... please, please..."
"Shh, sweetheart." I whispered, stroking her hair back. "I will always be here for you. You'll never be alone again, I promise."
"I love you." She said.
I smiled. "...I know that darling. I love you too." I kissed her forehead.
The instant after that, I found myself home- my true home.
"Ah, Goddess, what did I do?" I moaned, squeezing my eyes shut.
"You voiced your feelings for her." Michael-one of my two friends- said.
"She didn't hear them, though." I replied.
"She didn't, but They did. They're going to include her in this." 'This' being the fight between dark and light.
"D****t!!" F**k, why...? "I am so stupid! Why? Why did I let myself be ruled by weak human emotions? Why did I even decide to stay with her after school ended?" Why did I fall in love when I was originally a creature with no capacity for it?
"Are you done?" He asked calmly.
I nodded, placing my hands on my head. "What's going to happen to her?" I asked in a whisper.
"For now, nothing. They need to form a plan. But soon... her life will be turned upside down. There's no way to predict what will happen... you should know that."
"Of course."
"Whatever you've been hiding from her, it'd be best to tell her soon."
"Of course." I repeated. So that's what Goddess had meant.
"And Liam?" Michael said.
"Hmm?"
"Don't run from your problem this time. It never works."
"And if she doesn't want me?"
"We all know that you'll stay near her anyway." He answered with a smirk.

I had to take a fly. I had to clear my mind up. I mean... I know what I've gotten her into, I know what I've done. But I don't want to think of it. It's not fair. She didn't deserve this, but I went and did it to her anyway.
Of course, she had said she didn't care; but that my change when she hears the rest of my story.
Goddess, why couldn't you have left me in the pits of the Hell you found me? If you had, this wouldn't be happening.
I flapped my wings harder, trying to get as high as I could. I wanted away. Away from the problem I had caused for myself.
But I can't run... I can't run away from this, it will come back for me... Goddess, please help me, please.
The sun started rising behind me. Had I really been flying that long? I swear I started at maybe 3:00; how had I already flown for three hours?
Back down to meet this... back down to lose everything I called dear.
Because there was no way in Hell (or Heaven, for that matter) she would let me near her after this.
