'Tis a short chapter... sorry.

I couldn't not go to school- my mom would kill me if I knew I skipped.
But school meant seeing Anthony, it meant facing all of the people I lost because of my dating him. It meant being vulnerable to all that they could do and say to me.
Goddess, please. Keep me strong.
I walked into the school with my head down, trying to avoid everyone's eyes. (Because of my association with Anthony, I was known by everyone... Which means any rumor he spread about me has now been heard by all. [He tells rumors about all of his ex's, by the way])
I got to my locker, took out my language art's book and my sketch book and hurried to first hour.
Of course, because I was hurrying with my head down, not looking where I was going, I collided with someone and dropped everything in my hands onto the floor.
"F**k." I muttered under my breath, picking up my sketch pad. "I'm sorry."
"Not problem." The guy a crashed into answered. "If you're like me, you're trying to go unnoticed." He ran a hand through his medium length black hair.
As I picked up my L.A book, I noticed his schedule on the ground. "You're new here?" I asked.
"Moved in yesterday."
I handed him the schedule. "Then let me personally welcome you to the Goddess' waiting room, where you'll attend our very own 'Hellhole High'!" I said in a fake cheery voice. "At least, it'll seem that way until you get used to it. Then you'll merely hate it here."
He chuckled. "Thanks. That's exactly what one needs to here on their first day at a new school."
"Anytime." I sighed before we headed our separate ways.`

give more of a description of what this guy looks like. is he hot? cute? ugly? average? also, language arts shouldnt have the ' and the joke about 'hellhole high' was a little confusing to me, as is goddess vs a god, sounds a bit pagan... but thats just me (:
