Guard YourselfA Poem by A poet's heartBring up those guards, put on that face, Let no one know your heart’s disgrace. Act the lie, hide the low, Put on one hell of a show.
Watch yourself, let no one in, Not even when you’re on the gin. Forget the thoughts, forget to talk, Autopilot up that walk.
Push it out, don’t scream or shout, Remember what you’re all about. Knock down that bridge, lose the key, Kick out emotions and be free.
