Lunar Queen

By Ismael Rodriguez

Moon light shines down on my path
Will it show the way?
Please my lunar queen
Show me the way
To honor you
Maiden your gentle touch
Stirs my passion
Mother of all
Provider and nurturer
In you bosom I weep
Crone you complete the cycle
Wise one dark one
In the end I come to you
Hear me Goddess
As I cry for your help
Show me the way
The way to the truth
The way to be at one with all
To see the wisdom
In every rain drop

By the Goddess this is one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read my friend. It was so full of passion and beauty that it brought tears to my eyes for I too seek the guidance of the Goddess to lead me to full oneness and you have captured all I have ever thought of the mother above in this poem. Keep up the magnificent writing.

Not bad, a bit fluffy, my peference is not for new age poetry, but that's my loss isn't it?

I suggest adding a question mark after 'to honor you' as you are asking a question. Not sure about the use of the word 'Crone' and how it fits with the rest of your poem personifying the moon as a maiden and goddess unless you are making reference to the various cycles of the moon.

The repitition of the word can be both calming, and annoying. depends on the reader but some variety never hurts
