The Beginning of this Ending

The Beginning of this Ending

I guess a poem?

Once a man

Now an image not seen with eyes. Please no more tears let him disappear!

Time drags and sand stands still, but the world continues.

Oh how cold it is when winters is everyday, let the sun beat down and it's touch still unnoticed.

Under beds and in closets he closes his eyes forcing blurred memories to play

Floating so high, where is heaven?

Passing others leaving them cold, what is the purpose of a continue?

Answers are sought but never found, maybe a calling is coming....

Walking dark streets he kind of feels alive, everything is asleep, eveything is paused.

Opening his mouth he cries for attention but his bellow is missed.

How terrible it is to be a ghost.

What a superb ending, comes out of nowhere, simply genius. Love it, fantastic writing

I must say, I wasn't expecting the ending.
And that's bloody brilliant.
I was thinking more metaphorically, about you, or perhaps any other person, feeling neglected, null and void, and thus invisible. But here- not all poems are metaphors.

Nice write.
