In My Hand

In My Hand

A Poem by Rhonda
"

Something a little different

"

I hold in my hand
These ambitions, dreams, and longings.
As I give them to you my heart breaks,
I have nothing more.
Nothing more to hold onto, let go of, or roll over and over.

This is what it means to give you my all.
I have nothing left.

In the midst of nothing I have found myself.
Myself in you.

I lie against you and feel my heart beat.
I look into your eyes and see my soul.

I pray to you and you answer my call.

I hold in my hand
Everything.

This is so cool. It's so non-specific. But at the sametime it draws on things that most people can relate to.

this is beautiful. It touched me in numerous ways on different levels. Happy ending was quite unexpected by gratefully taken in. Kudos.

This poem can be understood as both a love story and as a way for people to understand that they hold the power do to anything. Really neat poem.
