Homage to the Isolated

Homage to the Isolated

A Poem by iza.fox

"Her shadow is consuming. Who can love such a heavy soul?"

To count the tears of the afflicted

To calm the clouded hearts of the restless

To handle the disturbing with care and delicacy

-that is the forgotten story of God's active love.

She carries with her both the strength and weight of His armor.

She is a warm girl from a cold place.

Think of her as an angel with steel wings.
