China Doll

China Doll

A Poem by Bela

You moulded you sculpted,

Frustrated, your project

Not taking shape.

You used your words

To try to bend me,

Wished you could break me

Like a chinese foot;

In vain, my bones

Wouldn’t be broken,

I refused to be

Your little china doll.

Broke free of your delusions

That tried to hold me down

Like prison walls.

Scraped through the gutter,

Cut myself

On the wire fence,

I ran.

About
Been writing poems on and off since I was 11 or 12. Dabbling a bit, many should never see the light of day, but in the past couple of years my poems are a little better. 99% of the time I do not feel.. more..
