Light vs Dark

 

The day is bright but my world is dark.

The sun is out from behind the clouds but a gloomy rainy cloud is above my head.

Haunting my every step.

 If I walk to my deepest desires the rain starts to fall above my head, if I try to go any further the lightning begins.

If I try to overcome the rain and lightning the ripping fear begins in my chest.

 I go back to my dark corner in the back of a card board box and start to wish on a star.

If the sun would shine on my head maybe I could overcome the fear...

 Of being rejected.
