A Poem by Nicole Gurney

I can't pretend anymore

I can't pretend...

The dream you wasted, I can't live...

I can't live for you anymore

I breathed for you as long as I could

I begged you to listen but you never would.

Did you think I'd give up,

when you gave up on me?

Listen to me, this is my final plee

Don't ruin what we have because of your mistakes

This is you last chance to push on the brakes.

I'm not letting up.

I'm not backing down.

This life was meant for me.

I can't pretend anymore.

I can't pretend...

The dream you wasted I can't live...

I can't live for you anymore.

I had breathed for you as long as I could

I begged you to listen, but you never would...
