Death

Death

A Poem by Nicole Gurney

I'm being pulled under
This feeling can NOT go on any longer
…you must die
And say goodbye.

Tonight it will end
No more than friends,
We WILL be

I've come to win…
Not let you in.
You better run now,
Or take you last bow.

Once, twice, no more will this be.
I'll be damned if this feeling is the last thing I see
Don't try to hide, my love,
For you hands are stained,
With fabrication and manipulation

I promise it will be quick and painless…

Just hold still.
