The fire withinA Poem by Danny SanchezPoem from a book of poems that I'm writing called parables of a brazen artist
There's a flame that burns deep within
It dances and prances around the thoughts of their encounters It wanders into forbidden zones searching for that feeling of home Like a lost cub in distress she moans Hoping her sound can be heard by the object of her affection And maybe they could manifest destiny into an erection Twinges of anxiety debilitates her body Sudden shutters with every utterance The sensation sends vibrations through her without physical contact The distance grows closer Paralyzing paranoia begins to subside As she's subdued by the light Pure bliss in the miss of matrimony A union so explosive At the height of the climax it commands and asserts As the fire dies the smoke proceeds to drift away While the passion remains She delights in the presence that extinguished her flame © 2013 Danny Sanchez |
