GoodbyeA Poem by Lost n' FoundA sad story that some people might relate to.
There he went
That Tuesday evening, Walking all alone. My friend was he, One much troubled It's hard to think he's gone The past few years Were difficult, But then I came along. I was a friend Always by him, When he needed a hand. His dad and mom Had been divorced, Just a few years back. His mother drank Away her life His father never cared. He said to me He hated his Dad with all his heart. But, then at home When no one knew, He'd cry there in his room. At school he did What he could To keep up with his peers. He thought he found Some new friends now, Until they let him down It was a party All night long, They had gotten drunk. A nasty prank A picture lost, In cyberspace for life. Next day at school, All he heard was Laughter and regret But now too late, The breaking point. He met me once again. He said "thank you For being there, When no one ever cared. You were like an angel, A comforter I'd even say a brother. He said, "I Love you, man" And gave me one last hug Before he went Away that day And made his final jump. Just before The end of him Flashes of memories gone He sent a text "Goodbye my friend" Don't forget me when I'm gone. He was found The next day at The bottom of a bridge. It was the saddest Thing I've ever known I hope we all may learn.
