The Boy Who Lived On The Corner Of 2nd And 3rd Street.

The Boy Who Lived On The Corner Of 2nd And 3rd Street.

A Poem by coma black☯

Once there was a boy.
He lived on the corner of 2nd and 3rd street,
with his mother,
and his pet dog.
He went to school with a girl.
And they became friends.
Once there was a boy.
He lived on the corner of 2nd and 3rd street,
with his mother,
his step father,
and his pet dog.
He went to school with a girl.
And they stopped talking.
Once there was a boy.
He hating living on the corner of 2nd and 3rd street,
with his mother.
He went to school with a girl.
They started talking again.
Once there was a boy.
He lived on the corner of 4th and 5th street,
with his mother.
He went to school with a girl.
They started dating.
Once there was a boy.
He lived wherever there was room for him to sleep,
with whoever he could find.
He went to school with a girl.
They hated each other.

I love the simplicity of it. It's like telling a story using Norman Rockwell characters. The story it tells, the ups and downs, all very vividly concise. Really great write =)
