WeatherA Poem by ivyheartA short poem
Hear the rain pittering its sad and lonely song,
See the lightning flash around and dance its silent wrong, Hear the thunder roar and cry its mighty battle shout, See the inky black clouds form and swirl all about. Hear the hail as it strikes the ground in its anger and hate, See the tornado destroy the town as if it is mere bait. Hear the hurricane as it plummets down the shore, See the earthquake crumple the earth in one noisy roar. Hear the volcano explode as its lava licks the air, See the drought dry the rivers leaving them bare.
