Here, Just Nowhere

Here, Just Nowhere

A Poem by ivizarx

Smoke my cigarette
Let it devour the air
Let its colors, overrun
Its beneath me to care
Seems to me both rightful
And never ever wrong
For freedom is my word
My heart's forsaken one
I feel it in my bones
Swimming amongst the shore
I feel it like a cold
Climbing amongst your core
Somewhat both trite
Yet somewhat fitting fine
To a situation in
Where your mind
Is left there, nowhere, somewhere in time

Interesting subject. You get your point across. The words flow and you finish well.

This reminds me of a song, like others have said (: I love your fantastic use of vocabulary and the emotion flows through so clearly. I totally love the "I feel it like a cold Climbing amongst your core Somewhat both trite Yet somewhat fitting fine..." ...that's simply amazing. I actually seriously think this is awesome.

I really like this poem. Seems like some things are hidden under the words.

This would be some great lyrics for a song

Wow!
And the flow to this fits perfectly...so many shades to contemplate through this piece! :)
I like the layered effect...nothing is quiet obvious and yet it screams...great piece of work love!

It has many different shades to it that give it a three dimensional feel. In other words, because I am starting to confuse myself, it has a refreshing quality to it through and through.
