Knight in a NightmareA by Katie Snydera dream from last night... actually nightmare... (shivers involuntarily)Not thinking a thing I walked away from you Only to feel a shadow following not to far behind I look to find him right by my side
I knew what he was, but I wasn't prepared When he reached out to touch me A thought of annoyance came about. Not that I should be scared.
I told him no, then walked away This time he came from the front And made me stop in my place
His arms wrapping around my waist I found it hard to find my place
As he pulled me in closer to him The feeling of panic started to begin
I screamed at him. I screamed at him. Let go. Let go. He just laughed in my face, and tightened his hold.
He thrust his tongue madly in my mouth, wanting a kiss. I wasn't going to stand for this.
I pulled away, just out of his lips reach. Fear had taken my capability of speech.
Then you came, and hit him square in the face. He let go and as I fell, I found my heart in a rapid pace.
You picked me up from the ground like I was nothing at all You stood in front of me, shoulders square, like a guarding brick wall
You told him to go, to never touch me again I could hear but couldn't breathe, my mind in a swim
He left and I felt the embrace of your arms. You asked if I was okay, though I felt more than harmed.
I couldn't say anything, and I started to cry. You begged me not too, you said the sight made you want to die.
I shook in your arms, and last remember you telling me you loved me. Shock filled I woke. But it was only a dream...
