PIECE OF PAPER

A sad poem everyone will know.

A piece of paper under my chair

I grabbed it and saw someone stare
I looked at it to act as fair

The eyes I see, I cannot bear

 

My inner remembered the crampled paper

I opened it and know what’s the matter

Read it while my eyes got wider

Saying this exact words you gave me, I still love her

 

The stare I felt was gone now

I raised my head that recently bowed

My eyes are finding, asking how

Reminiscing the promised vows

 

But I remembered you left me here

I cannot move, I’m in fear

The words you said was a crystal clear

“I’m sorry for leaving you here.”
