OverwhelmedA Poem by Just KariTrying to find stillness in chaos.
The
market is overwhelming today. Swirls of fragrant spices in the air. Arms reaching, shoulders and hips colliding as each tries to close his sale. Voices shouting and flashes of the sun between the canopies of each stand. In the distance the loud clang of metal pots falling as a careless shopper backs into them. In it all, I stand still. Silent. Overwhelmed. © 2016 Just KariAuthor's Note
