The rain did not wash away yesterday’s pain

Like the dust from the rocks

The sun did not melt yesterday’s pain

Like the ice of a river in March

And the wind just passed by

and danced with the trees

leaving me with my pain of yesterday

No fog hid

My pain of yesterday

No cloud carried it away….
